Flower Power Concerts will take place each weekend of the 2009 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, beginning March 20, 2009, at Walt Disney World Resort. The spring shower of hit songs from the 1960s and ’70s begins with opening-weekend performances by Davy Jones, known for multiple pop singles, including “Daydream Believer.” Flower Power Concerts strike a lively, nostalgic chord at America Gardens Theatre every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and are included with regular Epcot admission.
Concerts start at 5:15 PM, 6:30 PM and 7:45 PM except on March 20, March 27 and April 3, when the curtain rises at 4:45 PM, 6 PM and 7:15 PM. Here’s the lineup for March and April (subject to change without notice):

The 16th-annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival has been scheduled for March 18 – May 31, 2009. Highlights of the 75-day festival will include an elaborate “Cinderellabration” topiary featuring four Disney princesses (Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Belle), Disney Gardening at Home presentations, The Great American Gardeners series, The Garden Town festival center, Growing Future Gardeners, children’s activities, character meet and greets and Flower Power Concerts, including Davy Jones, Paul Revere & the Raiders and Jose Feliciano.
