Altamonte Springs to Host Independence Day Celebration by TheWiseman

The 2011 Red Hot & Boom! Independence Day celebration will take place at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs on Sunday, July 3, 2011. Sponsored by the City of Altamonte Springs and XL 106.7 FM, the event will take place between 4 PM and 11 PM and feature live music, food and beverage booths and an incredible fireworks display at 9:30 PM. Scheduled entertainers include Paper Tongues, Mat Kearney, Shontelle, Cody Simpson, All Star Weekend, Hot Chelle Rae and Sound Express. Admission is free. Orlando to Host Star Wars Celebration VI by TheWiseman

Billed as “the ultimate fan experience,” Star Wars Celebration VI will take place August 23-26, 2012, at the Orange County Convention Center (9800 International Drive) in Orlando, Florida. Highlights will include costuming workshops, academic discussions, behind-the-scenes insights, fan films, sneak peeks at the future of Star Wars, panels, screenings and special events. Epcot “Sounds Like Summer” Concert Schedule by TheWiseman

The “Sounds Like Summer” concert series returns to Epcot featuring tribute bands that will bring back the sounds of decades of summers gone by. Opening with Hotel California – a Salute to the Eagles, June’s lineup of bands will also “play” tribute to the timeless tunes of the Bee Gees and Bon Jovi. Sounds like Summer concerts are under the skies of the open-air America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase at Epcot. Show times are 5:45, 7 and 8:15 p.m. Here’s the summer lineup (subject to change without notice):
