In Spring 2011, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay will introduce Cheetah Hunt, a Linear Synchronous (LSM) Launch Coaster that “uses the force of repelling magnets to launch riders from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds – not once, but three times.” A state-of-the-art, multiple launch-point coaster, Cheetah Hunt will board in Busch Gardens’ historic monorail station. With 4,429 feet of track (more than three-quarters of a mile), Cheetah Hunt will set a new distance record for roller coasters at Busch Gardens.
